Question 1

What exactly does UseShift do?

Accepted Answer

UseShift is an AI agency that builds custom AI employees—autonomous agents that integrate across your entire business stack. We handle everything from discovery to deployment to ongoing optimisation.

Question 2

How long does it take to deploy an AI agent?

Accepted Answer

Most initial agents go from scoping to live in 5–15 business days. Complex multi-agent systems typically take 4–8 weeks for full deployment.

Question 3

Do I need a technical team to work with you?

Accepted Answer

No. We handle all technical complexity. You need a clear business problem and a desire to solve it. We take care of the rest.

Question 4

Is my data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We default to local-first AI deployment where your data never leaves your infrastructure. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit, and provide full audit trails of every AI decision.

Question 5

What tools and tech stack do you use?

Accepted Answer

We primarily build on n8n for workflow orchestration, with LLM models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) selected based on your use case. We deploy on your preferred cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-premises.

Question 6

How is pricing structured?

Accepted Answer

We offer Starter, Growth and Enterprise engagement tiers. Each includes a one-time setup fee and a monthly retainer for ongoing monitoring, improvements, and support. See our Pricing page for details.

Question 7

What's included in the free AI audit?

Accepted Answer

A 45-minute session covering: analysis of your current tools and workflows, identification of your top 5 automation opportunities, rough ROI estimate for each, and a recommended scope—all before you commit to anything.

Question 8

Can you automate a process that requires human judgment?

Accepted Answer

Often yes. Modern LLMs handle nuanced reasoning extremely well. We'll be honest in the audit if a process isn't a good fit for automation—we won't automate something that shouldn't be.
